Sketching and colouring

Inspired by my friend and our friendship journal I have been TRYING to learn how to sketch and draw zines. I downloaded a How to draw zines from Jenniebelle and have been practicing all weekend. Here are some of my efforts - some good? Some bad and some down right ugly! Lol













These were the first few and I've loved them all together in one photo here but these are only practice things not sure what I'll do with them.

The start of something wonderful?

Just before Christmas my good friends over at The house of bears got me excited about crafting again by pointing me in the direction of Jennibelle and her recycled card journal.

Since then, when I've had the chance I've been cutting, gluing and painting, I've not got a huge amount done but I am progressing very slowly.

This was the mess on my desk a few weeks back and there has not been much progress since then.

Well here we go again - An on off blogger who left it so long between using blogger I have now lost access to my old blog Arts n Cath but hope to carry forward all my favourite blogs.  I started this again to enable me to take part in challenges etc and to share any work I do here.

Anyway this is a test post to see how it all looks.
